Christos grew up between the island of Cyprus and South-East England. A marine biology graduate, he travelled extensively, working in dive exploration and underwater camerawork. A self-taught screenwriter/filmmaker, he has been selected for the CineStory Foundation Retreat 2019, the MIDPOINT Institute Writers' Room 2020, for BFI NETWORK x BAFTA Crew 2021 and placed on the BBC Writersroom list of promising writers. His latest short BLOOD (premiered at Edinburgh International Film Festival) starred real life teenage boxing champion Sonny Hardy, Ian Charleson Award nominee Elliot Barnes-Worrell and Laurence Olivier Award winner Katie Brayben. Christos is currently developing his short ICARUS (an international co-production supported by the BFI) and feature BURNING SEA with producer Rebecca Wolff and Grasp The Nettle Films.
