Christos Kardana is a screenwriter and director with dual Greek Cypriot and British nationality. Originally a marine
biology graduate, he travelled extensively, working in dive exploration and
underwater camerawork. His writing has been supported by the CineStory Foundation, British Film Institute, Austin Film Festival and The Academy’s prestigious
Nicholl Foundation Fellowship. He was selected for Creative Europe’s MIDPOINT
Institute Writers Room, BFI NETWORK x BAFTA Crew and SERIENCAMP (for the development of TV series drama productions). His latest short film ICARUS is an international co-production between France, Belgium and the UK, made with the participation of CNC and France Télévisions. Christos’ feature film BURNING SEA is currently in development with GRASP THE NETTLE FILMS (UK) and GRAAL FILMS (Greece).
